My wife bought me tickets for Christmas, so we’re heading out the door in a couple of hours! Five hour drive for a two hour concert? Yep. That’s what we’re doing. I’ve never been big on live performances, but I’ve heard this one is epic.

I’m driving 2+ hours this week just to see an AHL (Grand Rapids Griffins) game.

Oh man, they fucking rock! I went to their concert (Saw The National before it was cool!) and they are amazing, David got drunk on local beers and had a try at the good o’l drums, he was then reminiscent of Kurt, and sang for a shit ton of time (longer than scheduled.
